Creation of a brand and web presence for Story House Editing that blends old and new. The design combines movement and modern lines to reflect use of contemporary file-sharing tools, alongside a vintage flair that evokes the nostalgia of books and handwritten text.
Branding
This logo is very approachable and vintage-feeling with its hand-drawn type and ink and parchment colors. Its literal path leads toward the wonderful work you will build together. A little bit Grimm Fairytale, a little bit yellow brick road, the gingerbread Victorian-style house and path welcome new clients to start their journey.
The business cards are custom-made to have raw paper edges to coordinate with the vintage, tactile feel of the logo. The rough edges also feed into the fun pun on the back.
